Summit Hotel

We are offering a discounted rate for the 2017 Learning Summit through Le Meridien Cambridge. Le Meridien is located near the buzzling Central Square in Cambridge. Shuttles will be provided to and from the hotel.

Subway
Take the Red Line subway to the Porter Square Station. Exit through the right-hand doors of the train station (you should see CVS on the opposite side of the street) and turn right down Somerville Avenue for one block. Turn right onto Beacon Street and cross over the bridge. The Academy will be a 10- to 15-minute walk on your right just past Star Market. Take the Red Line subway to the Central Square Station; the hotel is located about three blocks down Massachusetts Avenue

From Logan Airport Take the Silver Line to South Station and then transfer to the Red Line. Take the Red Line toward Alewife and get off at Porter Square. Take the Silver Line to South Station and then transfer to the Red Line. Take the Red Line toward Alewife and get off at Central Square.
Taxi fare from the airport is about $35–$40. During non-rush hour, the taxi ride will take about 20 minutes. During rush hour, the ride could take 40 minutes or more. Parking at the Le Meridien are $35-40 for Self- and Valet-Parking.

Parking at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences is avaliable through the Oxford Street Parking Garage and may be added in to your registration. The garage is a six minute walk from the Academy.

 

Local Information

The Le Meridien is located right at the end of the MIT campus and a 5 minute walk from Central Square. Central Square itself is fiilled with great restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. The Central Square T-Stop also lies on the MBTA's Red Line, making traveling north to Harvard Square or south to Downtown Boston convenient and easy.
